How Do I Get Started?

Once you have made the decision to go forward, you can call our office for a consultation. If you like, you can print the form from the forms page and return it to me at the above address. Once you return the form, I will begin to prepare your petition and plan (if applicable). I will then contact you and we will meet and review the information. Once the information is accurate and complete, I will file your case. I file electronically so the information will be available to the Court and creditors immediately. A trustee is then appointed and a hearing is scheduled. See Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 for more.

Fees are dependent on the type or case, and the type and amount of debt involved. Filing fees for the various chapters are as follows:

Chapter 7 - $299.00

Chapter 13 - $274.00

Chapter 12 - $239.00
